For Fallout 4 how to you want to see the world when it comes to environments?

Here's what I'm talking about. For myself I don't want to some destroyed landscape with hardly any settlements and developed areas like what Fallout 3 and NV have. Lets face in these two games they have hardly and settlements to them and you see nothing new. The only thing part of that games environment is destruction and no new buildings. What I want to see instead is what the environment is like in Fallout 2. You see a lot of settlements and there's developed areas like the Enclave helicopter base, New Reno, the NCR city,  that power plant being ran by the ghouls and Vault City. Vault City is a new city that was built after the nukes fell when they left the vault. With Fallout 3 and NV you don't come across any areas like Vault City. You just come across settlements that are in already destroyed areas. Fallout 2 is more of humanity developing after the war instead of Fallout 3 and NV which are more of a apocalypse setting.

Won't FO4 be further in the timeline? If Bethesda actually use their heads for once they'd show development and some restructure.

So like Fallout 2 where there were fewer than 10 significant settlements in all of Northern California, Western Nevada, and Southern Oregon?

Fun.

Good game still, just from a different era.

Yes. I don't know when but NV take place when people who were around 20 in Fallout 2 are now old shits so Fallout 4 would be taking place probably 100 or even more years after Fallout 1. I do hope whoever is making Fallout 4 realizes there would be some type of development like Vault City or restructure after all of these years. The whole barren and nothing but destroyed wasteland shit is boring. Fallout 4 would be far larger than it would be on last gen so I don't want to see probably along with many others nothing but destruction.

There weren't that many of them but to me it's still better than seeing how Fallout 3 and NV handles their world. With 8th gen the world would be far larger than what we seen and it would be boring seeing a world that's just like how it is in those two games. Seeing reconstruction, developed areas and newly built ones would be refreshing over the constant destroyed buildings.

The angel agreed to trade a set of white wings for the head of another demon. Overjoyed, the demon killed one of his own and plucked the head right off its still-warm body.

The angel then led the demon to heaven, where he underwent centuries of the cruelest tortures imaginable. Finally, the pain was so great that he lost consciousness - at which point his dark wings turned the promised shade of white.
I want areas like Lonesome Road, those destroyed buildings in the huge ravine were cool as fuck and it honestly felt like a post apocalyptic game unlike Mojave/Nevada w/e.

Throw in the DC area from F3 and the game would be perfect.

if its in boston, it wouldnt really be that civilized. the institute/commonwealth doesnt exactly have a hegemony over their own territory; it's war-torn. my guess is that our job is to bring civilization to the commonwealth and free the android slaves or something

you can thank gamebryo for that. engine/console limitations really crippled that game but its still a solid 8/10

I want a more urban area.  I really disliked how NV was essentially a tiny, shiny city, surrounded by a big brown blob of nothingness.

if you know what i went through to get to the strip at level 2, then you can imagine how crushed i was when i found out that i couldn't actually get into the strip until i had enough cash dolla

and then when i had accumulated enough $$$ to get into the strip, you can probably imagine how even more crushed i was when it turned out to be only like 6 buildings

it was like a virtual doubleslap in the face

i bet you ran into a lot of cazadors and deathclaws and radscorpions. theres a reason the game wanted you to go south then east then north instead of just straight northeast

Even though you can only go into one building GTA San Andreas still did a better job at having the strip. When you're driving down the road at night it looks badass seeing all the lights and buildings. You can tell RockStar tried to make it look alive. New Vegas on the other hand only looks good at a distance and when you're in it the things is just lifeless. I know there's game limitations but there still could be a few more people in the strip to make it look somewhat alive.

i had to avoid deathclaws and fight my way through super mutants, giant ants and fiends mostly using just dynamite

when i finally got to freeside i had only one bar of health left, it was pretty intense

and the only thing that kept me going was the view of the strip at night

and did i mention that on my first attempt at this my save file got corrupted

the strip exists in this capacity in new vegas 100% because of problems with console limitations
