Start with 3. It's an awesome game and then it means going forward to Vegas, you'll appreciate the step-up it is.I have a code for Fallout 3 on XB1 backwards compatibility, if you want it.
I'd start with 3, if you can't stand the clunk don't feel bad just move onto the newer titles.It's aged like a dead cat under a radiator, but it's still a good game.If 3 isn't your cup of tea, FNV is a step up from it easily (mechanics wise) so that should be more accessible.
Then if you've played 3/NV move onto 4 and marvel at how far the game has evolved e.e
