I have this gut feeling that Geno is gonna be in. I was staunchly against him back before Brawl, but now I'd be okay with him.

The main argument against Geno in the past was that there was no way Sakurai could ever get the rights from Square to use him (because he's their IP, and all)--but now that Cloud is confirmed, Geno is a very real possibility.

Geno & Wolf, those are my final guesses.

That doesn't mean Smash can't be in regular directs, and it doesn't mean that they won't make an NX version with more DLC, with or without Sakurai.

It's the final DLC for anything anyone gives a shit about. You can count on that.

What are you talking about? It's one of the top selling Wii U games. Not porting the most popular (this and Splatoon) would be a wasted opportunity. And who cares about 3DS version lmao. 3DS is 5 years old next year.

Brawl wasn't ported to the Wii U, and it was one of the best sellers on the Wii. So what?

No Smash game has ever gotten ported except Smash 64, and that was on VC.

It wouldn't be a "wasted opportunity" because everybody who wants to play Smash already owns Smash at this point, and nobody wants to pay for the same game twice on another console. That's just stupid.

There's no reason to put it on NX. Even if it was a wasted opportunity, Nintendo is quite well-known for those.
