Their reason for it is rather understandable I think, it's nice that they're catering to those without internet, even if that is a minority now.

It's funny because when they revealed this game it said November 2016 on a slot machine style wheel but then they rolled it back to September

Tabata should have given people the option to buy the "Unrefined" version. I'm fucking sick of waiting, this game's never going to fucking come out.

Development didn't start until 2012. Before that, it was just two-three dudes in SE's basement dicking around with CGI and psuedo-gameplay elements.

Everyone and their grandmother has a connection to the internet. Your fucking shower head is connected to the internet these days. Why the fuck is he worried about a non-existent number of the population that "Isn't connected to the internet"? What changes will this patch bring? How does it not meet his standards? Instead of being cryptic he should tell us what these "problems" are. How do we know he isn't going to just fucking delay it again? Set dates apparently don't matter anymore.

Also, notice how I said: Give the option to buy the "unrefined" version (Duscae 2.0 was hardly an issue and they've only been making things better supposedly from that point on wards). It's not like I'm saying everyone should be forced to play the version SE is currently set with ATM.

You're defending day 1 patches. You're defending companies shipping out games not completely finished. All because of your hype and inability to be patient and not have an overall better experience. He's not going to get into the nitty gritty details of it. Hell almost no game developers do when they delay games. Be thankful they're even putting something out and stop being so entitled.

What is life.

I understand it's annoying to set a date, only for it to be ripped from you, trust me I do. But you need to look at the bigger picture too and understand that you getting the game early, and more unfinished (most likely with framerate issues), will only hamper your overall experience of the game. Don't let impatience cloud judgement in an industry where greed and money overtake what is best for the consumer at an almost cancerous level. Sit there and remember that companies think it's okay to ship games for $60 unfinished now. And look at what you're saying in defense of it.

Fine, but I am still incredibly angry about it, as that was the only thing I had to look forward to that month and now I have to pull something out of my ass to keep me occupied throughout most of October and November. I'm going to burn through XIV patch 3.4 and WoW Legion long before the end of October.
