Soon I'll be upgrading my current PC. The parts I'm thinking of replacing are my video card, motherboard, and I'll need a new CPU as well. What do you recommend?

Spoiler
Sorry for how the images are, I didn't feel like typing it all out or copy/pasting it.

What kind of games do you want to run?

Also the above image is that what you currently have?

>AMD CPU

Are you upgrading your rig or trying to build a fusion reactor?

I want to actually be able to run Fallout 4 with little to no issues, as well as enjoy better performance across all games. And yes, this is my current PC.

Okay so GPU, I personally prefer nVidia, so what I'd recommend is GTX 970 and higher, they are also releasing their next line of cards soon so I'd keep an eye out for that as well, and aftermarket dealers, well EVGA is always a good brand

That might be too expensive for me for just one part.  I'll keep this in consideration though, and thanks for the advice.

If that's what you're upgrading from then swap out that Mobo and CPU for Intel ASAP. AMD CPU's are hot garbage and AMD themselves knows this. There's a reason they use Intel CPU's when showing off their latest GPU's.

I would say no more than $200 per part.

if you're planning on replacing 3 parts and no more than $200 for each part what if I told you that you could build a complete PC with better performance than the parts in the OP for $600

I've put together builds for that much before with skylake processors and 900 series GPUs, even SSDs and it will be even easier with the new RX 480 cards about to be released

but it will make it much much easier if you could say spend an extra $100

Here's one I just put together as an example (though I seriously recommend you wait for the RX 480 to come out, it's leagues above any of the current mid-range options)

You could keep them, but if you're willing to spend 600 there's little reason you should want to

You could use the same case, optical drive and wireless adapter if you want to, though I'd rather you used an internal wireless card instead, or better yet, you could just get a cheap 100ft ethernet cable from Amazon and it will be faster and have less latency than any wireless connection

I really suggest you get a different PSU, even "okay" brands such as thermaltake can't really deliver it's labelled power. I only trust 3 - Corsair, Seasonic and EVGA

I could just pick a new GPU, PSU, Mobo and CPU for you with the 600 instead if what you're saying is that those are your current parts

You'll have better performance in games, but the system overall will be slower than the new system altogether
