Favorite Weapons/Dual Wield Combos in Halo?

Weapon: Covenant Carbine

Though I tend to use the Sniper rifle the most for obvious reasons, nothing beats the Carbine in my book. It's sound, high-fire rate and change of pace from the Battle-Rifle is something that makes it a unique weapon I always want to use.

Dual-Wielding: SMG-Magnum

As fun as dual Magnums are in halo 2, my favorite combo is the SMG and Magnum.
SMG takes the shields down, Magnum gets the headshot.

Weapon:

Halo CE's weapon sandbox in general. Boils down to the pistol, plasma rifle, and shotgun. They're like, my trusty aides.

Duals:

Pre patch dual H2 pistols is the most overpowered thing in all of Halo. Zero doubts about it. Excepting that, these guys.

Favorite dual wield combos are SMG/Plasma Rifle, SMG/Spiker, and dual Plasma Rifles.

The SMG/Plasma Rifle combo is deadly as hell. That's what I would use the most in Team Duals.

It's a lame answer, but Battle Rifle for straight up go-to weapon. I mean...the thing is awesome for medium sized maps. Other than that, I'm really good with the Fuel Rod (better than with rockets, but I always kill myself or my teammates with rockets).

Duals? Plasma Rifles. It's the most disorienting and humiliating dual combo to get killed by, in my opinion. They kill surprisingly quick, too.

Killing people with dual-magnums, makes you feel like a gunslinger

And HAlo 2's is the best, because you can shoot those things as fast as you want!
That's what I enjoyed. I didn't have to worry about missing a shot.

I liked the Needle Rifle or the Light Rifle for primary, just because they were more unique.
And I never really cared for dual wielding, so lets just say dual Maulers for OP close quarters shrekoning.

I remember when H4 first came out I expected there to be a bunch of noobs who didn't understand Halo. So I went with a Plasma Pistol & DMR Loadout. Hearing my dorito drinking friends from school shouting because they had no idea what was going on was priceless.

Dual-wielding was one of my favorite tactics in Halo 2 but I know it'll never happen exactly like that again without major nerfs >.>

Halo CE Assault Rifle. Sixty rounds on tap, and it had the best firing sound of all of Halo's ARs. But Reach's version is a close contender.

Favourite dual combo? It's a tie between double SMGs and double Needlers.
