The angel agreed to trade a set of white wings for the head of another demon. Overjoyed, the demon killed one of his own and plucked the head right off its still-warm body.

The angel then led the demon to heaven, where he underwent centuries of the cruelest tortures imaginable. Finally, the pain was so great that he lost consciousness - at which point his dark wings turned the promised shade of white.

That game is incredibly fun when low gravity is applied. I've never managed to handle a 64 player game, mostly due to the yelling.

There are a lot of things I like about the Nightmare boss fight, but the "pew pew" sound of the arm canons is probably one of my favorite soundbits in the game.

Soundbit 163 from Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland, it's the one where you take damage (it sounds like the fabric of your soul is being ripped open).
The reason I know it's sound 163 is because of the in-game sound/music mixer function. It was fun to mess with.

The really metallic sounds the Thwomps make when they slam the ground in SNES Rainbow Road on Mario Kart 8 is pretty cool, can't find a video though.

The Halo 4 Storm Rifle had a really cool sound when you picked it up, but all the videos of it are sweaty tryhard montages and I don't think 11 minute videos are necessary ITT.

Again, can't find a good video for this, but the Gale Boomerang's sound effects (specifically locking targets and charge up) from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess are pretty cool. Kinda reminiscent of Rayman 3.

The Generation II Hyper Beam sound. Glad they brought it back in Gen VI.

Any sound effect in Half-Life 2 that indicates getting health or armor.

Hundreds of bolts being collected all at once in R&C.

The Screw Attack sound effect from the original Metroid.

Whenever the SNES tries to emulate thunder/lightning during a rainstorm, like in Super Metroid or A Link to the Past.
