What are your favorite Pokemon to use online? Here's some of mine.

With Gliscor I just set up a Substitute, Toxic the enemy then just sit there and watch. It's great.

Goodra is similar but needs Rain to pull off. Hydration is great because you can just use Rest in the rain and fully heal yourself, then wake up. Not really great for attacking but I gave him Ice Beam for good measure.

If Goodra's Rain is still active then out goes Mega Swampert. He's a fucking tank and Swift Swim really helps. Waterfall's flinching bonus really pisses people off. Oh Dragon? Well I have ICE PUNCH.

Scizor is there for killing fairies and anything that gets hurt by it's Technician Boosted Bullet Punch.

Skarmory's Spikes+Whirlwind combination REALLY pisses people off if they can't deal with it.

I like gimmicks.

Mega Beedrill is probably my favorite Mega Evolution, competitively speaking. I think Beedrill receives the most drastic stat boosts out of any other Mega Stone holder: its Attack increases from 90 to 150, and its Speed increases from 75 to 145, making it pretty fucking scary to face. It also gains Adaptability, which makes STAB do 2x damage instead of 1.5x damage. It's very fun to just wreak havoc and sweep with this thing, but unfortunately, it still remains incredibly frail.

Mega Pidgeot. No Guard gives it access to a perfectly accurate Hurricane. Enough said.

Tentacruel, pre-Gen VI. This thing was the premiere stalling tool back in BW, when Rain teams reigned supreme. Excellent Special Defense, double healing capabilities with Black Sludge and Rain Dish, powerful STAB moves in rain, Toxic Spikes setter, and most importantly, a fast Rapid Spin user--outsped only by Starmie. With the weather nerf, Tentacruel has lost a lot of its luster, unfortunately, and it's difficult to work him into any kind of team.

Farfetch'd. I once 6-0 swept someone with one once in a tournament. I hope he remains unevolved, to be honest. There's just too much charm in having such a perpetual underdog-type 'mon.

Gengar. There's a reason this thing has been in OU across every single generation.

Marowak. It might seem useless at first (well, okay, he is--he's PU), but when you give him his signature item, Thick Club, its Attack doubles, making it an extremely fearsome wall-breaker. It also has access to one of the coolest moves in the game, Bone Club, which allows it to break through Substitutes, given its multi-hitting properties. Baton Pass a Substitute for him, nab a Swords Dance, and destroy.

Linoone. Belly Drum + Extreme Speed. Enough said. Technically, Azumarill does this better, but Extreme Speed has the added benefit of being +2 priority, whereas Aqua Jet is +1.

Ninjask, pre-Gen VI. Smogon recently introduced a clause that prohibits the Speed Boost + Swords Dance + Baton Pass strategy. Additionally, sound-based moves like Hyper Voice and Boomburst can now bypass Substitute. As a result, Ninjask's previous utility is now almost completely tarnished. It wasn't already bad enough that he had a 4x weakness to Stealth Rock.

Shedinja. No explanation needed.

Jirachi. Serene Grace flinch hax is still a bitch to deal with.

Drifblim. They need to reintroduce the elemental gems immediately, because Drifblim needs the Flying Gem back. You wouldn't think a single-use item would have any competitive use, but it does: Not only does it have excellent synergy with Acrobatics (a move that increases in power if Drifblim isn't holding an item), it also activates Drifblim's ability Unburden, which doubles its Speed if it loses its item, making Drifblim a surprisingly scary sweeping tool.

Regigigas. No reasons needed. Trying to find ways to work around Slow Start is a blast.

Liepard. Probably my favorite Prankster user, because it has access to Copycat (a Prankster-compatible move that copies the last move used by the opponent). Prioritized Thunder Wave probably shouldn't be a thing, but it's still super fun to use.

Sigilyph. It's a one-trick pony, and it's brain-dead as fuck, but it still manages to be hilarious to use.

Zoroark. Impostor shenanigans. Sadly, I've never seen anyone put it to good use--I think it has a LOT of potential.

Hawlucha. See Drifblim--he has the exact same strategy, but is arguably better at it.

Honorable mentions:
Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan
Starmie
Scyther
Vaporeon
Porygon, Porygon2, Porygon-Z
Articuno
Forretress
Blaziken, Mega Blaziken
Mega Diancie

Any 'mon with immunities/an ability granting an immunity

Giratina, Regigigas (literally the most troll moveset in existence with Thunder Wave, Confuse Ray and Substitute), Kyurem-W, Kyurem, Kyogre, Dusknoir, Swampert (no mega), Tyrantrum, Malamar, Groudon, Noivern, Aegislash, Moody Glalie, Garchomp, Hoopa, Deoxys-D, Landorus (either formes), Tornadus (either formes), Palkia, Dialga, Arceus, Sableye, Blastoise (no mega), Tauros, any of the regi trio, to name a few.

I don't give a fuck about the general disdain to legends. Or some fake unofficial rules. I only use Pokemon I like.

In fact, it works to my advantage, because people underestimate me and get promptly ass-raped.

When people nearby or my friends ask me if I play I usually pretend to be a total noob and agree to a battle, but say I'm not very good

Then sweep their entire team

My friend uses a Mega Steelix with Rest/Curse/Sleep Talk/Heavy Slam that REALLY fucking pisses me off. Seriously when you're up against something like that with nothing to counter it it's like trying to run at a brick wall repeatedly, which I guess is the point.

So I fucking Worry Seed'd his ass and prevented him from sleeping!

This is not the greatest sig in the world, no. This is just a tribute.
Snorlax has been my bro for years. Dat STAB body slam.

Going off of gen V here, because I just have not played VI competitively outside of our own tournament here...(though I gotta say that I really liked mega Diancie. Best suggestion Verb ever gave me.)
Volcarona was a personal favorite of mine just because of how many guys he could take out after one quiver dance, and then if fiery dance's buff activated, oh man.
Galvantula in LU was the shit. Life Orb'd STAB Thunder that nearly always hit because Compoundeyes? Fuck yeah!
Cofagrigus, Cryogranal, and Steelix were fun on a team together for trick room antics.

Rub my belly
Starting out with a Haxorus, Adamant Nature, Skull Helmet, 252 Atk and 252 Spd, set up with Dragon Dance if you can, then use Outrage. KO's like 80% of the time the opponent's starting pokemon, and more than often I'd take out 2 or 3 pokemon. Move likes Poison Jab and Earthquake can be helpful too.

toxic orb/poison heal/protect for recovery, sword dance to make his decent attack even better, earthquake for stab, ice fang for coverage.
I love the setup.

Never had an online battle. Dragonite is my bby though.
Dragonite is kind of a one-trick-pony, tbh.
He's a dragon who can do dragon, ice, flying, water, fire, thunder, hyperbeam and fighting all in one. Literally the best pokemon in existence.
>hyper beam
