I've been in the closed beta for months now and I've only played it twice. It's one of the most boring piece of shit games I've ever played. I'd rather play a shitty facebook game because at least those have content value.

Fable Legends was literally walking, spamming attack buttons, and waiting. Lots of waiting. The enemies AI is about as advanced as the zombies from the original plants vs zombies. All they do is spawn in and and walk towards you. If they are ranged enemies they stand in the same spot until you get close enough then they walk towards  you.

You spend most of your time waiting in a stupid hub world that is 10 square feet and has absolutely no purpose whatsoever. It's like the animus loading screens in Assassins Creed, you just run around in circles in an empty space waiting for shit to load.

All the combat amounts to spamming the attack buttons. The weapons have no weight and do jack shit for damage so you just got to spam the button constantly.

The emotes never work. There is no meaningful cooperation at all. The other players are just sort of there. Nothing even requires cooperation. All you do is kill the enemies in one area, go to the loading zone, kill the enemies in the next area, go to the loading zone, kill the enemies in that area, go to the loading zone until you reach the end and you get rewarded with nothing and all you've done is wasted 30 minutes of your time.

And this closed beta has been running for months. Almost every week Microsoft emails me reminder that a new session of testing is beginning but I don't give a shit. Microsoft couldn't get people to play this game even if it was they paid them.

Surprise surprise

When was the last time you played it? I'm curious to see if there have been any improvements at all during the beta or if it's basically stayed the same.

I think it was May or something. I don't want to try it again because it wants me to download a giant update that will waste hours of my time.
