Favorite Board Games

There are just days I want to sit down and play a board game instead of staring mindlessly into a tv or computer screen. I have a small collection of board games including Life, Monopoly, Apple to apples, and Jenga.

My favorite board game would have to be Words Against Humanity, because laughing is good for your health, and there are some great lulz with that game.

So what is your favorite board game?

Settlers of Catan

Clue is an amazing game, and Monopoly ruins relationships.

Talisman, Splendor, Risk, Twilight Imperium, Dungeons and Dragons, Traveller

Life

Frustration.
And unless there's a similar game I'm unaware of, Cards Against Humanity is, rather obviously, a card game. Not a board game.

Oh wow a lot of those I haven't heard of! I know of Risk (which I've played once) and of course D&D which I've never actually played. The closest to D&D would be larping since it was D&D based. Are the other games mentioned also strategy games?

Talisman is pretty RNG based but it's a strategy game. Splendor is also strategy. Traveller is basically a DnD style tabletop RPG but with a scifi/space theme. Twilight Imperium is an obscenely nuanced strategy game

As for traditional board games I would have to say Tokaido. I really want to get settlers of Catan because I've never played it before and it looks fun.
