They apparently looked to Destiny for inspiration for their gunplay, which is the one thing about Destiny I would actually say they nailed, plus they actually had the lead gameplay guy from Bungie helping themBut yeah, NV is pretty neato

Urgh the gunplay in New Vegas is what's stopping me from playing it. It's such a chore.
My game is really beginning to shit the bed. I got killed, and when I came back, every time I pressed a button, there would be a massive input delay. Like... a full minute. So I'm sitting there pressing buttons, wondering what the fuck is going on, and a minute later, it finally starts doing what I told it to do sixty seconds ago... all at once. Not sure if it's the game or the port or whatever, but goddamn, I hope that's not gonna be a recurring theme.
I just noticed--the intel Moira wanted on Rivet City's history is available elsewhere, apparently. An "(Optional)" sidequest appeared, and it says I can ask other people about the city, too. Great--I thought I was done with that one.I haven't skipped out on any of the optional ones yet, so I may as well do them all.
Actually I'm pretty sure he doesn't give you the location of the cache if you don't know where your dad is
Yeah, you could technically skip like half the main quests if you already know where to lookbut theres no fun in that unless youre just trying to skip to the dlc or something
Aren't you at all curious who the android is?

Well, who is he?
SpoilerHarkness. He went to Pinkerton for his surgeries; you seriously only needed to talk to like two people to get an awesome plasma rifle and get the good karma ending.

Because that's a different good karma ending, albeit less rewarding. It's mainly there as a way to forfeit the quest without failing out if you can't solve it.
