Took out a couple Super Mutants, including a Brute and a... "Centaur". More like... walking octopus.

Looks like they were holding some kind of burning shrine east of Farragot West Metro Station. Gore bags containing mutilated body parts are here--I can only wonder what the fuck those are for. There was also a mini-nuke just lying around. Sheesh.

Rescued a captive from Super Mutants. I didn't actually see any mutants, though--just a girl tied up in a tent in the city. After untying her, she offered me her things, but I declined, saying that she'll need them more than I do. Now I'm just wondering what I just passed up on <_<


Looks like I'm gonna have to head through Friendship Heights. There's a lot of raiders with missile launchers there, so I tried to find a different route, but there doesn't appear to be a faster/better way. I'll go tomorrow.

Also, if you're going through the metros to the GNR building, look for arrows and wording painted on the metro walls. They will point in the direction you need to go.

Okay

I played New Vegas first and FO3 second. I hated pretty much everything about the game and only finished it once without doing much of the side quests because pretty much every aspect of it was deplorable, in my opinion.

Deactivated the nuke. Holden (Lucas Simms's son) awarded me with the key to that empty house that I kept walking by, and now I get to use it as my living quarters. Fucking YES. It's great, because now I actually have a place to store all of my items, and a place to sleep at consistently. But more importantly a place to store my items.

I reported back to Moira after visiting the Super-Duper mart, and she gave me a food purifier. Very, very nice. But now she wants me to irradiate myself with 200-600 rads for her research... <_< Kinda crazy, but not something I'm unwilling to do. I'm standing next to the nuke, now, waiting to get sufficiently irradiated. I might get bored and stop, though.

When I played I found him outside the Super-Duper mart, like not outside but nearby it. And he found me tbh but yeah, do the "Those!" quest.

i'm playing through fallout 3 and writing up my thoughts on it as i play

i've made similar threads for half-life 2 and halo: ce
at the end of the playthrough, i write up a full review of the game

people seem to like them

I mean this is the first one I"m a part of and it's pretty cool.

But if you intend to do every quest in this game it's going to take you a while. Especially if you want to play Fallout 4 afterward.

i won't do every quest--just enough to give me a flavor of the game

but considering that i'm doing a very "heroic" playthrough, i'm gonna have some trouble ignoring some people's requests

but of course, i'm assuming the game doesn't END as soon as you beat it, right
you can still explore the wasteland after that

right
