The angel agreed to trade a set of white wings for the head of another demon. Overjoyed, the demon killed one of his own and plucked the head right off its still-warm body.

The angel then led the demon to heaven, where he underwent centuries of the cruelest tortures imaginable. Finally, the pain was so great that he lost consciousness - at which point his dark wings turned the promised shade of white.
its fucking sad that these kinda games are getting the attention.

Well as flee once put it, they have an artificial competitive scene. Riot pumps boatloads of money into making it seem like the premier competitive video game, and that's why it gets all the attention

that was actually from a "gaming" edition of ESPN the magazine, but they didnt really do other eSports stories to my knowledge. I do think they had a DOTA 2 article in the same edition but im not sure.

in any case, it was a very well written article. i liked that she didnt shy away from the negative aspects of being a pro gamer. we need more great journalists turning people onto "eSports" like this and humanizing the pro gamers a bit.

idk, league of legends is a hell of a lot bigger than cod. the cod personalities/popularity got really crippled by those exclusive mlg.com streaming contracts

nadeshot is one of the more significant "faces" of esports in NA though, you're right. he's one of the few people who can compare to NA league personalities in terms of popularity
