If you don't want to pay more for a game than you did more than ten years ago, companies need to start ensuring a return on investment in other ways.
I'd rather just pay for what the game is worth.
It just doesn't make sense for anyone to continue to feign shock when these companies announce season passes.
The only Season pass I've ever considered buying is the one for the Witcher 3, and that's actually because I wanted to support to the devs for a game I really loveI've just decided to buy the first DLC for now though >.>It's not downloading for some reason though ;_____;

I don't understand why people get upset about season passes. They've been status quo in triple-A games for years now, but we act like it's a huge offense to offer it.

Something that occurred to me this morning, isn't the first DLC free for everyone anyway?Jakku something, or is it just a preorder bonus?
I get that EA is unpopular but people could at least cut them some slack for the good things they do rather than just shitting all over them like they are the worst company in America.
I LIKE FREE SHIT

No.Shitty practices should be criticised regardless of how many good practices are present. It's the only way we'll get Real Changetm.Can't help but feel that you're slightly biased, Psy.
Or if it's not metal gear enough, then why bother complaining about a company you don't care for at all?
Quote from: Mr Psychologist on October 13, 2015, 08:19:13 AMOr if it's not metal gear enough, then why bother complaining about a company you don't care for at all?well, because other people care for it, and that's a problem, because the more people support them, the higher the precedent is set--so whether or not you like the company, or the games it develops, shouldn't be a factor if we're making some kind of ethical argumentrest of your post was good though
