Because it actually gets regular updates and I take breaks from it (as in don't re-sub) when I know I'm not gonna play. I got like 90 days for whatever amount of money.

well, those two tracks were all right, i guess--i don't know if i have the same level of appreciation for orchestral music as you do, but i'm sure the music is enhanced when put in context of the game

like, if i could share something with you, there's this game that i adore called Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil for the PS2, and there's this pivotal moment in the game where you fight this boss who is a corrupted version of an important character, and this music plays:

but of course, someone made the point earlier that there's no way the game's gonna be that cool when it comes out--and do i expect it to? not really, but it was still a cool little moment, and it certainly enhanced the conference itself for me

i'm kinda growing ill of having such pessimistic attitudes about everything, though

a lot of shit sucks, yeah, but some things are kinda cool, too, and it's okay to sit down and appreciate that

I'd say there's a fundamental difference. You can still watch old films all you like, DVD format or Blu-Ray isn't going anywhere any time soon.

Games (Unless you're on PC) are generally stuck to one console and can't be played if you don't own that console anymore for whatever reason and it's not backwards-compatible.

That's why you don't sell your consoles.

Yeah. I still have my PS2 because I wanna play good battlefront games and shit. Just a shame the controller is the most unergonomic product to be produced in the history of everything.

Anyway, if they add new stuff in remasters (Like skyrim doing mod support or MCC adding all multiplayer shit) then its cool. If it's just a port I'm a bit iffy on it

The CoD space segment will just be a toy for one mission like the tanks and jets and choppers and shit in previous games. I wouldn't hold my breath yet.

To me it looks just like what Star Wars Battlefront was supposed to look like. You are right about it being a bait and switch. I know the first trailer was simply a revile trailer but it still looked bad and boring compared to BF1. This trailer on the other hand looks like a completely different game. Gameplay wise and graphics.

I will be sure to check out these new IPs, nothing else really interests me.
