All this sony fanboy hype really is something.

It was a good showing. Don't need to be a fanboy to see that.

I jumped in when it was mostly done, but this is what I saw.

-VR that made FFXV look like Time Crisis, what the fuck is that shit, I'm not at Chuck E. Cheese's
-Infinite Warfare, actually looked cool, would have to sit through it all to have realized it was COD if I wasn't told as it started
-Bandicoot remaster, nice for old fans
-Lego starwars, same old same old
-Death Standing, boy howdy am I ready for more Shitjima
-Spiderman game, looks like, well, a spiderman game
-Day's Gone, I love watching a guy stupidly run from zombies and attach an oil filter for a silencer

It was, okay at best, with the dregs dragging it down.

The five trailers they showed first (ie. all the ones you missed) were the best.

Heard Resident Evil got butchered by a long time fan, and Horizon being open world well, unless it decides to do something different will be eh, even if the setting is nice, which is a bit of a shame, last year it got revealed I was looking forward to it too.

I hope there's a VR/PS4.5 bundle or something. I need both to enjoy this stuff.

So, Horizon: Zero Dawn.

Ever since last year, when it was first announced, I knew I had to keep my eye on it, and--we all saw the trailer except Shitaka--it totally exceeded my expectations. The game looks phenomenal. The weapons, the art style, the gameplay--UGH.

That was my favorite segment of the entire show. What about you guys?

No, but it was objectively a better presentation than anything else shown so far.

No bullshit, no obnoxious marketing swindles -- just games. You have to appreciate that.

I'd probably appreciate back to back gameplay/trailers more if they weren't bleh for the most part.

I dunno about you but I got a very distinct Legend of Zelda feel when she got on the back of the boar machine thing and kept shooting arrows at that corrupted machine.

There was no "revolutionary" "epic" "first time ever" bullshit buzzwords was my point. Just game after game with a nice sentiment at the beginning. Announcements, no bullshit.

I love Horizon: Zero Dawn. So. Damn. Good.
That, Detroit: Become Human, and Death Stranding (Kojima) were the big highlights.
VR was very good but the main games were the highlights.

Oh that's fine, they can.
It's more in an effort to educate people on what they missed.
Personally I don't care much for God of War, but I know others will and I know it was a hype start to the show.

I didn't go for the attack on personality.

My favourite game from E3 thus far is Fe. It'd probably be Spider-man or Crash Bandicoot HD but we didn't see enough of them to judge.

Zero Dawn looks like a confirmed purchase for me, and if I manage to get the VR headset I'll definitely pick up X-Wing and Arkham. And I hope that capture the flag eagle game from Ubisoft comes to PS4.

I think it looks super interesting, actually, but I'll try to maintain reasonable hype levels.

While I think Resident Evil should have been rebooted, I do like they're going with something different, because it seriously needed to be after whats happened with it the last few installments. Even if it is Resident Evil 7: PT Edition.

Just please make it new characters, new setting, new everything. If you HAVE to mention characters, for the love of Talos, please just make it a passing reference.
