Do your X1 controllers keep randomly disconnecting during games/apps?

I went back to playing X1 in the beginning of January and noticed that my controller would just randomly disconnect every 15 / 20 seconds. Anyone else here having this issue?

Its not the controller - I connect it to my PC and it works fine there (yes,m even wired to the X1 it somehow disconnects)

I did. I tried /r/xboxone too - people have reported similar issues and the only fix seems to be getting a third party controller. Those don't turn off.

Doesn't need an update.

Connected the controllers to my PC - no problems (Controller is not the issue)
Connect a third party controller to X1 - no problems (X1 is not the issue)

Looks like its at the OS level. Well fuck.
