For myself the only game I remotely did it in was San Andreas. What I did was I wore the cop uniform and I pretended to be a cop by driving around in a portal car and when I seen a cop chasing someone I went after them. The other thing I did was I got a semi and I drove around like a trucker. Besides those two thing I simply played RPGs normally which is doing the story or fucking around. The reason why is because I don't have the attention span to role play in the same ways people do for games like Skyrim. To me role playing as a normal NPC in Skyrim would be boring or being a hunter and selling the pelts would get old fast.

Holy shit, I thought I was the only one that did this

I never went to places and pretended to unload stuff I simply drove around the areas. Like by starting at one city and making my way randomly to the other two. Also after so much time driving I stopped at the gas stations to fill up. I got out and stood by the pump pretending to fill it up.

I do enough roleplaying there, so no I don't really roleplay in an rpg.

Before I start a playthrough in Fallout games I decide if I'm going to be good or morally gray. That's it.

I used to do it in GTA: SA as a kid.

I don't undersand /how/ people roleplay in games like Skyrim. Like, how do they do it? Do I voice dialogue or something? Like what?

I just make my own story for my character and try to think what he would do as part of his story.

Kinda sorta-ish. I make characters that fulfill specific niches and roles.

 Sometimes I'll add a teensy bit of RP if I really like the archetype. Like my "PYROMANCER BURN BURN BURN" character I made in Skyrim had to work his way up from the bottom to become the godlike being he is.

I made a thread when I roleplayed as a black man in new Vegas

Think I might do a jew roleplay next

If there's a mod for it make sure you get one where you're able to Jew people down in prices.
