So my friend wanted to borrow my first Pokemon, my Sceptile because it was Level 100 and he wanted to use it against the Elite 4 to grind up some weaker pokemon with EXP shares, before I traded it to over to him I decided to breed a Treecko. While my friend had my Sceptile his game file corrupted and everything was gone - his team, my Sceptile.

The Treecko that I bred has been used in every Battle Facility since Gen 3 to Gen 6 and it's waiting to go to Sun/Moon.

Yeah, quite a few.

The first Pokémon I ever raised to level 100 was a Typhlosion in Silver called "Quil!." (yes, with the punctuation marks), who was technically my first Pokémon ever. The only reason it got up so high was because it was pretty much the only thing I'd ever use. It carried me through the Pokémon League and through Kanto. I still remember his moveset: Cut, Strength, Flamethrower, and Return.

I still remember my first shiny Pokémon, which was an otherwise unexceptional Rattata.

Then there's the Pokémon who have proven themselves to me in competitive play. My rain team during Gen V was pretty great--Politoed, Tentacruel, Jirachi, Toxicroak, Ninjask, and Ferrothorn.

Politoed, naturally, was the leader. He was pretty versatile, and used a variety of sets. My favorite strategy was boosting his accuracy with a Scope Lens, so that he could nail you with a 96% accurate rain-boosted STAB Hydro Pump. It didn't hit as hard as a Choice Spec'd Pump would, but accuracy is a big deal to me.

Tentacruel was just... a boss. His main purpose was to be a speedy Toxic Spikes setter, but he fulfilled many other purposes as well. He was great at stalling, mostly because of his amazing Rain Dish + Black Sludge recovery. Tentacruel's special defense is also very high, making him an extremely reliable switch-in to almost any attack. And, of course, he was a solid Spinner.

Jirachi benefited from the rain significantly. Its weakness to Fire is eliminated, and it gains access to a 100% accurate Thunder, which, with Serene Grace, also had a 60% chance of paralysis. Coupled with Iron Head, this led to some kick-ass paraflinch shenanigans. Towards the end of Gen V's lifespan, Gastrodon became a powerful counter for rain teams--but luckily, Jirachi had access to Energy Ball, so that wasn't too much of a problem. Overall, Jirachi was a great offensive utility Pokémon that did me wonders.

Toxicroak and Ninjask were bros. The only physical attacker on my team, his main purpose was to get a speed/attack Baton Pass boost from Ninjask, and sweep the entire team with Drain & Sucker Punches. Ninjask couldn't attack at all--his only purpose was to Pass speed over to its teammates, which it did very well. Substitute was nerfed in Gen VI, because sound-based moves can bypass it entirely--basically nullifying Ninjask's utility. That sucks, because it was one of my favorite strategies.

Ferrothorn... bleah. I used him merely out of obligation. He's very very good--even today, but I just never liked his design, so I didn't really like having to use him. He was there for laying down Spikes, paralyzing with T. Wave, Leech Seeding, tanking physical attacks (and biting back hard with Iron Barbs + Rocky Helmet), and absorbing Poison-type attacks. He fulfilled all these roles well, but I'm only attached to this Pokémon on a competitive level. Otherwise, I want nothing to do with it. Like Klefki.

I've also made use of Alakazam, Vaporeon, Gyarados, Zapdos, Thundurus-T, etc. on rain teams, but none of them quite had the staying power of the six I mentioned already.

I have an attachment to Vaporeon in particular, though, for winning me my first Pokétourney.

You either die a hero or live long enough to become Mythic..
DEFINITELY My Typhlosion from HeartGold. Hot damn was it hard to play through with her but my god I love her. Best pokemon I had.
Same with my HO-OH, got it all the way to 100, made it a BEAST and then...

Last, but not least, was my Gardevoir. Had that pokemon since Diamond and was going to bring it all the way to X/Y...

Then my fucking assholes of friends wiped my save file on Black 2 WHICH HAD ALL OF MY POKEMON ;-;

‘The most inoffensive user on this website’ - Verbatim
No specific ones, as it seems I lose save files within 6 months of playing every game.

Every time I play Gen 3 games, my team almost invariably consists of:
-Swampert
-Manectric
-Glalie
-Metagross
-Salamence
-Armaldo
-Skarmory or Gardevoir in Emerald, where Steven doesn't give you a Beldum.
-Sometimes Masquerain.
