Hows Valkyria?
Splendid, would recommend to people <.<

If you like turnbased strategy stuff where you get to shoot the enemy yourself then I'd say go for it >.>
Worst case scenario is you have to refund the £3.74 or whatever that is in runedollars lol

It's got an interesting story and shit too <.<

I should be a salesman.

My favorite RTS to date, has a bit of a steep learning curve but love it. If you get it I'd  definitely play it with you

Oh and IMO its a lot more of an in depth on the RTS features than Total War

I always kind of found Total War to be the casual's RTS
Yeah Total War is good for the battles but it's definitely a casual game. Not that that's a bad thing and all, but from my brief poke around with the demo it seems like quite the indepth game <_<

Not quite Project Terra Mk.2 but close enough that I want to play it >_>

And yeah if I ever git gud with it I'd be up for a game <.<

My favorite strategy game of all time.  Learning curve cliff is steep af, but once you get it you'll have loads of fun.
