I'm past the "shocked" stage with Bungie and Destiny, so this is just par for the course with them. I stopped playing the game months ago, after the update patches started kicking me out of the game every minute or so, and I'm sort of thankful it happened.

It's a game that's very nice to look at, but it's not anything I'd want to invest time in.

He really isn't wrong when he says Bungie is a shit developer. They do have a shit rack record when it comes to games.

Halo 2 is broken and unfinished so I wouldn't consider that a great game.

Unlike Halo 2 Bungie did have time to put focus in Halo 3 which they didn't at all. The first half of that game has no story at all and the levels are random as fuck. They're so random that you have to beat them first to know what you just did and you can remove them without the story changing.

For Reach it is their last Halo game so you would think they would put everything they can into it, but they didn't. They put hardly any passion at all into it which resulted in it being shit and it was just a tech demo for Destiny.

The only reason why Halo 3 hardly has a story was because originally Halo 2 and 3 were suppose to be one game. And the PC port of Halo 2 fixes most of the issues.

If you actually look carefully, Halo 3 had a lot of cut content that was suppose to be in the game. The missions were actually longer originally, but Microsoft was all like "HURRY YO ASS UP BUNGIE!"

ODST was a side project, you can't expect the game to 100% be perfect and polished when it's done by a much smaller team.

Reach, I agree with you. It's a good game as far as standalone goes in some aspects, but as a Halo game, it fails. Hell, I'd like to say it's made with the same engine that Destiny is made with.

However, you can't go wrong with the first game. That actually has a FUCK ton of problems, and yet it won game of the year for it's incredible story.

Oh please. KoTOR 2 ended up having the deadline cut just like Halo 2. Even though that game ended up being unfinished which shows you still get the idea of the story and what you're doing. With Halo 3 on the other hand like I said the first half of the game is random and pointless to the story. To make it even worse we still hae no idea what the Arbiter was doing for a good portion of the game. Even if what you said about that game also being rushed there's no excuse on why it ended up being that bad. It's just Bungie being lazy and wanting to get out of Halo.

Sell it. I sold my copy less than a week after the game came out. Reached level 20 and realized there was nothing left but an endless grind with no story and nothing but bullet sponge bosses. No regrets.

Once you reached up to level 20 that was when you realized the game is nothing more than grinding? Nowhere before that that thought didn't come into play? For the game having no story that probably would have been something you found out withing the first few hours. And for the bosses being sponges you would find out after two of them. It's kinda said it took you to level 20 to find that stuff out about the game.
