It's popular now and everyone's excited, but...it's a disappointment for me after Halo.
Did you read the article? Destiny did not make $500 million in sales, Activision sold $500 million worth of Destiny content into the market.
Quote from: Lord Commissar on September 10, 2014, 09:02:11 PMThis game is dead in the water competitively without them. The game is dead competitively either way. Gear plays way too much of a role in the game. That's one thing that almost all great and competitive FPS games have in common: fair and common ground for its players. Destiny is all about farming the best legendary gear and upgrades, so unless something changes or everyone ends up maxing everything out anyways, Destiny is going to be a joke of a competitive game.

I could be wrong lol"Bungie has confirmed that they have leveled the damage input and output for Crucible players, regardless of weapons that are brought into the mode."Looks like you're right to some extent. Although I don't know how armor and upgrades work though.

I have a feeling Bungie never planned the first Destiny to be perfect, I think they are going all out on the second game/expansions. Which sucks.
So they made as much as they invested. 0 profit? Someone explain pls. :3
