Protoss Zealot vs Elite Zealot

This is a battle I've always wanted to see due to how similar they both are.

I think the Protoss Zealot would win due to his superior plasma shields, armor, and speed but I think the Elite could put up a decent fight because the Energy Sword is a deadly weapon.

Who do you think will win?

The Protoss would win, because the Protoss don't get so easily blinded. Their technology is also leaps ahead of the Elites too

Yep.

Elites are cool, but the Protoss can read minds. There are even some Protoss Zealots that are as fast as light when they move and attack.

Maybe "speed of light" was an exaggeration, but still, they are fast.

As for an air battle between capital ships, I think The Covenant would win.

Protoss space forces aren't well documented and a lot of stuff is changed for gameplay reasons. For example in canon Protoss carriers have purifier beams that can penetrate a planets mantel and reach the core. Protoss carrier shielding is meant to withstand that kind of firepower. While void rays aren't as well documented outside of gameplay it's noted that many terrans believe that it may replace the carrier as the Protoss Empires flagship, which means that thing has to be able to output some serious damage in order to compete with carrier purifier beams.

Then you have things like arbiters and mother ships that cloak entire fleets. The mothership specifically can slow down time in localized areas and open up vortexs to suck up enemy ships. Arbiters can put enemy forces into stasis which effectively takes them out of the battle for a period of time

Not to mention the fact that both of these ships can teleport reinforcements directly onto them which means in a game of logistics the Protoss have a major advantage.

I hate how we only get to see how cool Carriers really are in cutscenes. And I'm guessing all those planets that the Protoss burned that Aldaris talks about were burned by Carriers. In fact, the intro to Starcraft shows a Carrier blasting through that Terran ship with its purifier beam. That's the only cutscene were we get to see that happen.

The Void Ray's damage output, especially in large numbers is insane. A ship that size that deals that much firepower is awesome. Since Void Rays are so OP in-game, I can only imagine how much more powerful they are canon wise.

The Tempest is also another dangerous ship to deal with as it can attack from incredible distance and its weapon is designed specifically to destroy large ships. I can totally see one blast from a Tempest's Kinetic Overload attack completely destroy a Covenant ship.

Also I hope they bring back the Protoss Arbiter in Legacy of the Void. Even though it got replaced by the Mothership, it would still be cool to use as a campaign-only unit.
