I'm going to do it in one week, but I want to hear opinions first.
Buy it used. Bungie and Activision had content cut from the game so they could later sell it as DLC. They also advertised it as being much bigger than it is. You play the same missions over and over and over and over again. It also has literally no story. You go here and shoot stuff, get a ship, go to the moon and shoot stuff, go to Venus and shoot stuff, go to the asteroid belt to see some characters who are only there to expand upon later in DLC, go back to Venus and shoot stuff, go to Mars and shoot stuff, then teleport to some place you do not even know and shoot some more stuff.
I had to buy it. My brother is a desticle.I hated it.

Get ready for some fun gameplay, no story, a fun level up system all the way to level twenty, then a tedious grind to every level after that doing the same thing over and over and over and over and over

Just get the new Borderlands game.
