That said, 4 of us took a look at the first encounter earlier and the enemies seemed manageable enough, but from everything we've heard anyone below 550 is gonna really struggle.

Riven looks fucking weird.

Lmao, almost 12 hours and no one has beaten it yet. Longest time to complete any Destiny raid so far was VoG. 10 hours, 43 minutes. This has beaten it. If I’m correct on my info.

Figured out the strat for the first boss, but we're a tad underlevelled to finish it. Going to take the day to regroup and fully level before trying again.

I take back what I said about the light level being too high.

Seeing these streamers become completely broken over time is too entertaining.

After 19 hours Redeem clan has finished the raid. It's finally over.

Almost beat the first encounter, but was a pain while underleveled, rather come back in a week or so when a bit higher.

What's the lore on this raid fams

I dunno how they can fix the sleeper issue in gambit without nerfing it for normal pve use. I guess they could change the x ray vision for the invader so it's only in pulses like the new  nightstalker tree. Otherwise it's just way too easy to precharge the shot, especially if you have the catalyst.

I've actually went into the invasion portal to hide from an invader when I'm full of motes lol. Saw my team getting picked off by the sleeper and said nope

I actually love how there were some pretty obvious consequences from killing Riven, with the Dreaming City becoming more corrupted by the Taken. In Destiny 1, Crotas End was the only raid that really had an consequences which was Oryx's arrival but the almost immediate change in the world after Last Wish was completed was great. And using it to give us another story mission and strike was swell.

Other than that, Bungie have successfully made me excited for another Hive/Taken expansion which is wild because I thought I wouldn't want another one for ages after Crota/Oryx/Nokris. All the lore and stuff with them is just fascinating and I'm ready for Savathun and Xivu Arath already. I suspect that'll probably be Destiny 3 with the ships that appeared in the post credits scene though. But who knows, that same post credit scene has showed all the DLC locations and Oryx's Dreadnought so we're probably going back at some point.

Me and a teammate got killed simultaneously by SS because of its richochet shots and it lost us 30 motes. Shit is infuriating.
