I have very minor interaction with the series apart from playing a demo of the first game that came with Resident Evil:Code Veronica X years ago. It gave me fucking nightmares. My cousin is always going on about how good it is so I decided to get the HD collection a go.

Pretty good so far, the platforming sections are a bit iffy though.

Wow that fight against the Griffon on the boat was atrocious. :|

The chronological order of the series is 3, 1, 4, 2. You won't miss anything if you skip straight to 3. It keeps getting pushed farther and farther down the timeline because Capcom wants nothing to do with it.

I beat Mundus by standing in the lava, using an Untouchable and hitting him until he died >_>

Is that the uh... intended way?

Okay so I was struggling like fuck against that first Ice Dog boss in DMC3 but for some reason  within the first 30 seconds he did that dash attack to me and got dragged back really slowly. My sword started dealing MASSIVE damage against it, WAY more than usual. Is that normal? I suddenly beat him way easier o_O
