Darkwraith master race
Is Co op rare in the dlc or something? Or am I just playing at a different level to most people. 'Cos I never saw a single human player summon sign. I had to do that damn 3way gank boss solo
Dark Souls 1 dlc? Depends on what area you're in, Oolacile Township is a pvp hotspot.
Chaos Servant master race
FTFY(I love the weapons n armour, tho)
I kill Quelaags sister every time.
She's pretty much useless after obtaining great chaos fireball and gives you both 5k souls and a fire keeper soul when you kill her. Unless you're planning on spending 30 humanity to open the shortcut, there's no point in keeping her alive.
I only joined the chaos covenant because i didn't want Solaire to go hollow.
Yeah, I was lazy and just sprayed poison mist through the shortcut door to kill the damn bug
Anyone else glad that crits are getting nerfed in DKS2?
Shields are for puss bags
Critical hits, being backstabs and ripostes. As you may have noticed if you're into DS2 PVP, most backstabs or ripostes hit a lot harder than their DS1 counterparts, even when wearing the hornet's ring. In DS1, getting a one shot kill on a player with relatively high vitality required a massive damage output (crystal demon greataxe, for example) combined with the hornet's ring taking up one out of two ring slots. In DS2, dealing over 1800 damage (which either gets you the kill or basically wins you the fight) for a simple backstab with a very large amount of weapons is very common. It's a very good thing From is balancing critical hits because, a lot more so than in DS1, fights usually come down to whoever can get off a backstab first. On that note, they're also going to fix buffstacking, which was also a massive problem in DS2. You wouldn't believe how many people I've fought that started each match off by staying back and casting 4 consecutive buffs (sunlight blade, sacred oath, numbness and resonant flesh) to become basically unstoppable.
Tru facts.
Ah right yeah I wasn't sure if he meant just backstabs or parries or both. And yeah it is quite ridiculous how that is working out in Dark Souls II. I mean I'm not really a pvp person at least in Dark Souls, and even still the amount of people I've seen, designing their builds around just doing one shot critical kills is quite ridiculous.not when used for parrying though you figs
not when used for parrying though you figs
Parrying dagger fgt.I agree with Sandtrap though, PvP is pretty dull this time around.
Soul Memory is an awful mechanic, but by PVPing at level 280, you really are just a part of the problem. I don't have a single build over 130-150. Where's the fun in not limiting yourself?
