the game has been priced at $40 (good but not ideal) but the gift card i received on xmas should cover that

- matchmaking (a la ds3) is now possible so pvp will be less completely fucking asinine (definitely should've been a thing from the beginning, so no brownie points from me)
- up to six players can mingle now
- dedicated servers > peer-to-peer

nothing i give a shit about, just give me an option to say "fuck you" on the title screen and give me an offline pause feature and i'll be good

the game is also not using any new assets, which is great

Pretty certain Dark Souls 3 (and definitely sure) Bloodborne has an Offline mode at title screen, so if they are converting a lot of the features of the newer games to Dark Souls then Id be pretty right in saying the remaster will have that feature.

I'm just teasing. I use it a lot while building up towards other things if I wanna try new stuff. But generally I do find it very vanilla. Nothing wrong going through with that first time though, but for someone like me who's doing it like a 7th time, you can see why I'd want change ups so I don't get bored playing.

I personally think being a Mage is one of the most boring of the entire series simply because you really don't have to learn many enemies movements. Fun for PvP though for memes, but I know you don't like that stuff.

Eh, sorry. To be perfectly honest, when it comes to PvP in Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3, I sort of mentally block it simply because of how shit it is.

Oops, we accidentally removed poise from the game, making heavy armor and 2 handed swords useless. Oops, we made it so when you roll it doesn't take much stamina, and pushes you further, and made PvE enemies do insane combos to the point dodging is really the better alternative to blocking, thus making it useless
