And it's not a flaw. Just because it's some design you don't enjoy, doesn't make it a flaw. It's called a risk reward factor, and everyone who actually plays the game enjoys that.
Quote from: Luciana on January 13, 2016, 06:19:52 PMNo, it's something I highly recommend doing. As in, you probably won't beat the game otherwise. If you wanna complain about it taht much as if you're making some statement, just kill yourself right after you upgrade it to go hollow again. Just make sure to pick up your stuff, but you only need to use one to upgrade, so the only thing you'd lose is souls (if you dont buy/level up).Nope, I'm going full Hollow. There's absolutely no reason I should have to risk getting invaded just to play the game.

I won't bother. The fact that none of that stuff is available as Hollow is a game flaw that I will be taking note of. That's bad design.
I don't think you even understand how invading even works.

i think it tells you if you get invaded, like i said, youll be playing in NG, no one, to my knowledge, would even invade at your level because its simply not worth it or no fun. invading is also a bit complex, needing some requirements and whatnot.

Besides--you TOLD ME that I could play the entire game Hollow, and it wouldn't make a difference. So, thanks for lying.

I want to be able to boot them the fuck out if I don't WANT to get invaded.Because absolutely nobody has permission to invade me.If you want to duel me, message me and ask me first. That's how it should work. The fact that it doesn't work like that is unacceptable, so yeah, full Hollow for me.

Otherwise you can stay hollow, exactly how you start the game. It honestly doesn't matter in the end. Even if you were human, odds are you would very rarely get invaded.
ok stop fucking me you cunts
Also!Certain covenants in the game decrease invasion activity so less invaders are able to make it through to your world.

I'll just let him play the game first and either like/hate it more before we dive into a mechanic to a game he's barely touched.
I'm sorry I forgot a very subtle mechanic in a game I've not played in a few years until I broke it down and looked it up in a post.Forgive me for lying.

Well, first you told me I could play the whole game Hollow, and now you just told me that I'm going to have trouble beating the game if I don't ever go human. So it can't have been that subtle. I mean, not being able to beat the game because of it seems like a pretty big flashing red caveat to me.
You don't have to, but only using 5 estus in long runs is going to be nigh impossible for someone who's going first time through.
Honestly just don't play the game.Don't even bother.
