Well I'd like to just give a subtle hint, but it isn't nearly as satisfying when somebody tells you.

I found the ladder by accident just dodging behind that wall, and it was an awesome feeling. Had somebody told me it would've ruined how menacing the dragon is when you're first playing the game.

I think I found it by thinking that the dragon fire would somehow clip through the floor, and running as far down as possible, nearly rolled past it before seeing it.


Wonder if he'll find the Claymore, or fight Havel. Havel's ring is a massive help.

Yeah wait a minute, how come he didn't find Havel?

Anyways he needs to kill the dragon to get the Claymore I think. Unless he grinds and buys a thousand arrows he won't kill him.

I don't know if we should tell him to shoot the tail so he can get that sword.

I dunno, I did hint at exploring the tower's basement but I don't think he did.

You don't have to kill the dragon to get the Claymore, if you make it to the other end of the bridge the dragon flies away until you respawn, I think. Even then, from the bonfire there it's pretty easy to just run out and grab it.

Also the Drake Sword kind of sucks later on...

On the staircase leading into the tower right before the Taurus demon, you can drop off and safely land but when the knight follows you he falls to his death.

I'm convinced they originally intended to make Bridge Drake a required boss fight, couldn't find a way to make his design not be awful, and just scrapped him up to an obstacle and copy pasted Taurus in to make sure there was no long gap between bosses.

Verb got burnt toasted. Now he's gonna learn how to be proficient at speed running the burg over and over.

Fuck toasty the dragon. He's not even a boss and he's the biggest little bitch in the entire game.

He's pretty easy to lure out and he only has one attack, plus he doesn't really leave the tower so you can keep poking him from the doorway. He's left the tower a few times to attack me, though but he runs back shortly afterwards.

I have many duplicate items. How do I get rid of them? I didn't see a "sell" option whenever I spoke to the merchant...

Look for shortcuts to your bonfires, Verb. The entire map is intricate. There is a ladder you can kik down if you look above that bonfire in Undead Burg.

I know people didn't wanna spoil it but I felt that was a freebie I had to give, so forgive me.

this game needs to start telling me when i pick up humanity, or something

i never know if i have any, unless i physically check

as a result, i've never been human for longer than two minutes, because i'm never aware if i have any or not

i'm saying that only because i just lost 4000 souls (and possibly humanity, not that i could fucking tell)
