Except if you read the post, you'd know that I didn't fall for shit. I read up about the game prior to playing it, watched videos about it. As soon as that hint appeared, I knew it was bullshit, but I wanted to see what kind of trap it was.

Seeing how several messages players have left have actually been extremely helpful, no. The ones telling you to jump are obviously bullshit and are actually funny when you read them on a ledge.

I thought that was the whole point? You invade players and fuck them up at random or something. I don't know, after I set off the first trap, I had to stop playing, because I would've broken my television at how stupid of a fucking concept that is.

Y'know, when I was playing through I only got invaded at random 2 times, the first I died from PvE before he could get to me, and the 2nd I just disconnected the internet as I didn't want to deal with that shit. That was in 100+ some hours of playing the game. Seeing as how you can go offline and the game is still great(all you lose is the messages, which often times are pointless, and PvP), I don't think that those online features can honestly ruin the game when you can so easily avoid them.

Also, it's a game about being in a dark, dying world void of hope, and where even the NPC's can betray for their own reasons. Having online players 'betray' you by coming in at random and trying to fuck shit up adds to that if you ask me. Although, the NPC invasions are in the game even if you're offline.

Verby, the key thing to the PvP/invasions is that you need to have restored your humanity at a bonfire for them to invade. If you don't, then you don't lose much, you look like a zombie, and you can't summon players/NPCs to help you. That's really it.
