Dark Souls Fans?

Anyone else a big fan of Dark Souls? I'm sure there are a few, and if so then what would be your favorite game of the series?

I'm pretty excited myself for Bloodborne and the new remaster of DkS2 for PS4 and Xbone. And my favorite game so far would have to be Dark Souls.

yeah, i didn't like the invading at all, especially when you just reversed your hallowing for the bonfire kindling. i think the hints are funny though, and it gives the game kind of a unique mechanic that's up to the players, but i can definitely understand disliking it

Fellow players? It's the law of the jungle, bud. There are canonical story reasons for invading other people, and there are ways to get out of it if you really just don't want to deal with it at the moment.

Since I have a good opportunity to ask...
Are the DLC for DS2 worth the investment? I've been contemplating their purchase but heard very little from my Dark Souls playing friends about them.

I'm doing a play-through of both games currently and the build I'm running is surprisingly fun (Dex/Str combo). There's a lot versatility in weapon choice. Magic... not at all.

I think they are pretty good personally. Crown of the Old Iron King is probably the best one though.
