Also, if anyone has experience troubleshooting dsfix, let me know. It doesn't seem to be affecting anything in the game.

Edit: and now, the game won't start if I've changed any settings in the ini file.

In practice this only works for high level builds, except in Dark souls 2 where weapons can be infused with mundane. Mundane scales weapons off of your lowest stat, and if all your stats have the same value they will ALL be treated as your lowest.

For Dark Souls 1 I recomend either a quality build with some int or a dex-mage with a Greatsythe. Getting the dark spells from the DLC makes the game pretty much un loosable.

Dark Souls 2 Int builds are the way to go for a pain free time, Or a havel build.

Dark Souls 3 has three builds total: Quality, Luck and Pyromancer. Anything else is throwing points away.

If it's the original Dark Souls, make resistance last. It's basically useless in the first one.

Still a better investment than Dark Souls 3's INT

Quality is old meta in 3. Strength and Dex got buffed out the ass in the last patch.

You know it would probably be really hard to do a ninja run in Dark Souls. As in just a katana, the ninja clothes, no shield, no magic.

Souls Katana's are fucking busted though.I did the runnnig R1 attack on the Uchigatana once while I was in Firelink Shrine. It destroyed 9 chairs, six phantoms, Halo 5's writing quality and killed the Soul of Cinder and Nameless King.
