Finally got the Nameless King

Bitch of a fight to solo. So glad I got it. From now on I don't ever have to solo that piece of shit.

Just started ng+. Got to do the side characters right this time.

Something is wrong with my Storm Ruler. Isn't it supposed to kill in 5 charged hits?  Why did I just pour 9 into him and have him just shrug it off?

And then sometimes the guy gets hit by the beam, and takes damage, but just ignores it and still hits me for a OHK.

Need suggestions.

I've got a bunch of different things I could try, need suggestions on what works.

What could I do to get the most out of this? If I change my weapon's infusion to Lightning, will it get even more buffed by Lightning Blade? I mainly only use the Faith for healing and buffs.

i would try the infusion route. i know in dark souls 2 a lightning weapon could get extra damage when buffed with sunlight blade, so it may be the same for the lightning.

You can't buff an infused weapon, at least from the ones I've used. A buffed weapon will have a higher damage value than an infused weapon, but obviously the effect is only temporary. So pick what ever appeals to you the most.

I would try grinding concord kept for Darkmoon blade. Applies magic damage but it's considered a miracle so it scales with faith. With lightning blade and dark blade, faith builds have almost complete elemental coverage.
