I've noticed that the only people who usually chug are the hosts. It's like they suddenly desperately want to stay alive and keep their ember lol.

still can't find it in me to fight ornstein & smough again. i've tried that fight at least 100 times now and every chance has ended in defeat. got close a couple weeks ago because i had solaire summoned but now i'm out of humanities and i've never been able to kill these two fuckers alone.

guess i just gotta get gud or some shit

It seems that she was Ludleth's Fire Keeper, as well.

Ludleth drops the Skull Ring upon death, which mentions an insatiably soul-hungry beast whose corpse was burned, and oddly enough, Ludleth is literally a burned corpse. Considering that the bad ending for Demon's Souls has the protagonist consumed with a hunger for souls and that Firelink Shrine is suspiciously similar to the Nexus, could it be that Ludleth is the Demon's Souls protagonist?

Keep fatty between you and Ornstein, use lightning against Smough and fire against Ornstein, and strafe around the pillars.

How does parrying work in this game?

Can only certain attack be parried? Is the window really that tiny? Or do I just need to get better?

I think they made it 'harder' again by narrowing the window

Honestly, I haven't parried enough to understand it in this one

I'm pretty sure its better to use the daggers/scimitars now to help parrying more, seems its almost useless with the fist now, and I dont use shields

He has delayed attacks, I always seem to dodge a half second too soon and get punished for it.

He starts a swing and then just leaves it hanging there for a second before continuing.
