I found a broken statue you can offer Sunlight medals to at Lothric castle but I don't think you can join the covenant there.

Look at me, late to the party.

Artorias fight dethroned the Ornstein fight from DS2 as my favorite. I like bosses like these that are aggressive but not too aggressive (fuck Gwyn) so you have to wait for the right moves to ease a hit in.

Plus his moveset was cool to watch.

Yeah the artorias fight is one of my all time favs, especially since I had to wait so long to get to it.

He was such a cool character and then you get to meet/fight him.

And the shrine is in Lothric castle, but not the one you were at earlier. You'll get to it after beating the Dancer of the Boreal Valley.

From the undead village bonfire head straight on past the flaming pyre with the large enemy mob. Go into the first house on the left and drop down a hole in the floor.

I missed it too my first play through.

Yes, he's cool himself, I like him a lot and his lore is brilliant, I'm on about the fight itself, it didnt stand out to me.

He's one of the only bosses that felt like fighting another person. He wasn't some gigantic Dragon/creature and he didn't need to double team you.

He was quick, his animations were cool and the way he carried himself was pretty awesome.

Fighting him at a lower level really brings out all the subtly awesome things about the fight.

All of his dialogue was cut, though was still found in the game's files.

You can find it on YouTube. Worth the watch, assuming you or anyone else hasn't listened to it already.

It's a shame, since the boss fight could've been so much better with it.
