Also for the record, I was kidding about Fallout 3 being better than NV, and NV failing to capture the things the old ones did.

Though I DO still think FO1/2 had the best atmosphere and consistent since of "getting by" (if that makes sense. I don't wanna say dread or hopelessness) that the game wanted you to really feel.

Here's one. The success of games like Limbo and Fez have damaged indie games, so many being released use the same 'retro' art style, same concept, same lack of features and interesting art style as one another-and it's annoying. Perhaps this isn't really an issue at all and this is down to the fact that most of the free games on xbl seem to be fucking indie platformers-looking at you Volgarr, So Many Me and so many others.

Well I should say I'm referring to online play, since spawns and all that are weren't built for tons of people.
On Blood Gulch you can spawn kill a team all day.

Yeah, that's mainly it for me. I can tolerate some middle-school level military science fiction, but the real depth of Halo (for me) was the mystery of the Forerunners and the Flood. I kinda wish series with these mysteries would stop revealing them (e.g., Mass Effect).

As much as I love ME, it would have been better to end it while keeping the mystery and never fully knowing why the Reapers were doing what they were doing. Have a few good guesses hanging around, but nothing 100%

-Fallout 3 was and is good, mmmkay. FNV based from, and improved it.

-PC gaming is better in terms of cost and variety. Consoles are far better at being universal and user-friendliness however.

-Revival of a dead series even if it doesn't live up to the original is better than the series being dead, assuming the the revival is good on every other aspect.
