That is arguable because a lot of the games mechanics are tied to summoning other people. Hell some bosses in the series require online to summon players as part of the boss fight, which I think is pretty damn cool.

Fuck you're an idiot. Fedorekd never said the game isn't fun, he said he doesn't think it's all that tactical of a shooter or that it's a complicated game with a learning curve. I responded with the fact that he hasn't played enough to be able to play the game tactically. Until you understand the map, where the best loot is etc. you CAN'T play it all that tactically. You're running around blind and just being corralled into the shrinking circle. But when you have about 100 hours and you know the map like the back of your hand, the game becomes a lot more complex, you stand a much better chance at winning or at least placing in top 10.

100% cool with them, and i actually wish they happened more often

i view them as no different than just another enemy you have to fight, except that they're kind of like minibosses that give you rare weapons and shit

it's different when another player invades you, because now, an actual human being is actively making the choice to be a cunt to you for absolutely no reason

on the flipside, being able to invade characters like lautrec is really cool, because i'm just killing an NPC to avenge a fire keeper, instead of ruining an actual person's day for my personal gain

i respect the game's desire to create a microcosm that puts a magnifying glass to the shittier aspects of human nature through the combination of anonymity + power, but i just think it could've been handled way better

in fact, dark souls 1 probably has the worst MP experience i've ever played

but there's not a single person on this planet who sees it my way, so i guess it doesn't really matter

The new iterations of frostbite are complete trash, floaty movement and even worse physics. LA branch did good in fixing BF4 but i dont have any faith in them nailing down BC2's intricacies

You guys are joking about Battlefield right? Maybe I’m alone here but I think BF4 was a good game. Was it broken? Yeah. But technical issues aside, it’s good. BF1 is also good. Though I just couldn’t get into it as much. I found myself getting killed way too often compared to the others. It’s too chaotic in conquest and that other big mode IMO. And I miss the customization.

DICE LA made Hardline and that was uh... Not good. The team in Stockholm are the originals. They know it best. They can make good games. They made Battlefront 2 as far as I know. With another studio creating the single player. I’ve heard it’s a good game. But EA forced in those awful MTs... They also probably forced a release for BF4 knowing it wasn’t ready. So I have no problem with them making Bad Company 3. I hope they do. The LA team didn’t do a good job on Hardline though. Bottom line it shouldn’t have been made. Not under the Battlefield name.
