Even if W@W was a hacktathalon by it's end, at least now there'll be some activity on it. Who knows, maybe the influx of new users will drown out whatever hackers are left.

I might play it now, so I'll see it myself if it's still a cancerfest. I haven't played it in like a year, so....

The game is literally unplayable. Every lobby has 3-4 guys flying around the map with God mode on and have every single weapon in the game at their disposal with infinite ammo.

Wtf is even the point in playing? Gaining satisfaction from killing normal players? Whoever thinks that's fun need to reevaluate their priorities in life.

It's as if Activision is afraid that by doing so a 7 year old game and a 4 year old game will end up decreasing the amount off players for the newer/future games.

When Ghosts was out, there were more people playing Blops 2 than that game just a couple months after Ghost's launch. Blops 2 still had a healthy population well after the Xbox One and PS4's release too, although I don't know what its at now.

Activision doesn't care about the older CoDs sadly. They only care for the new games that will come out and update those and so forth.

However they did patch Call of Duty 4 when the hackers began to flourish due to community outcry. That only lasted a short while however as the hackers were able to bypass the update. There wasn't as many as before that update though.

Unfortunately WaW never got that patch and ended up being much worse than Call of Duty 4. I couldn't even get to the max rank in that game because I was afraid some asshole would demote me back to rank 1 and make it impossible for me to level up again. This happened to some of my friends who got a legit 10th prestige in that game.

Has it been confirmed yet if CoD4 remastered will be released outside the LE? I'd pay good money for both CoD4 remastered, and MW2 if the rumors are true. Every other CoD game has been "meh" to shit.

Because of Activision seeing nothing but $$$$, I doubt they'll sell it separately.

They won't sell MWR separately because they need to sell Infinite Warfare
