CoD: Infinite Seque- er Warfare comes with CoD 4

It better come with multiplayer and this new IW better not lay their dirty fingers on it and change anything

But all in all, it sounds like they're desperate to bring back a chunk of the CoD population that left after Ghosts

The image was posted on Reddit and looks to be from US retailer Target. It shows the cover for a Legacy Edition of the game and states the package "also includes" Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.

A November 4, 2016 release date is also prominently displayed.

Although Activision and Infinity Ward have not officially revealed the game yet, a listing for it appeared on Sony's PlayStation Store. Activision typically fully reveals its new Call of Duty games in the April/May period, so an announcement may be imminent.

Infinite Warfare will be developed by Infinity Ward, the developer responsible for the Modern Warfare games and, most recently, Call of Duty: Ghosts.

Activision has said it will not have its own booth on the E3 show floor this year, and will instead exhibit its latest games with the help of partners such as Sony PlayStation. The next entry in the Call of Duty series will be at Sony's booth.

Same, I'm sick of the future bullshit already. Having a remastered CoD 4 would be awesome since the game is unplayable because of the hackers.

They won't patch the older games, but they'll resell a prettier version of one of them. Ah, good ol' Activision.

The G36C was such a good gun. The G3 was alright, but I preferred the M14. That gun felt and sounded powerful as hell.

While Infinite Warfare is obviously meant to pander to everyone 10 year old who worships the futuristic theme that all 3 developers are seeming to stick with from this point on, a Modern Warfare remake is tempting to actually cause at least one person to buy the special edition of CoD 2016.

Years back when Reach came out, we used to say that Halo would eventually turn into CoD and CoD would turn into Halo.

It's scary because that is exactly what has happened.

My guess is that the maps will be:

Crash
Strike
Overgrown
Bog
Pipeline
Vacant
Backlot
Wet Work
Showdown
Shipment

All these maps are great, so I'll be relatively fine with 10 maps. That's what was good about older CoDs like MW1 and MW2. The majority of the maps were great, they fit every playstyle, and there were key locations that you needed to hold down if you wanted to win.

The newer CoD maps are atrocious in design. You'll have a building with like 5 open doorways with a hole in the roof and an objective in there.
