One thing i very much dislike already is the amount of uses for builders. I may as well just keep producing them. Like I get we dont always need them but they could at least then make them cheaper

I just like it because it reminds me of Civ Rev, which was my first Civ. That, plus the music is amazing, and Civ V just bored me a lot and didn't feel very inspired.

I've played 3 games up to 200 turns and while there are a few new mechanics you'll notice, changes in gameplay here and there I don't think any of it warrants the £50 price tag especially not if you have civ5 with all the DLC. The big thing they were stressing with this game was districts and how they will change the way you build your city but really it's just them taking all the buildings and organising them into sub labels and it's all rather superficial instead of innovative for example take the Zoo building from civ5, you could produce it nornally and it gives you happiness however in 6 you have to build an entertainment district in your city and then you get the option to build a Zoo which fulfils the amenities need since happiness has been removed. Same with military buildings instead of just constructing an armoury you have to build an encampment district and then you create one. I hope that explains what I mean by sub-labeling. Builders now have uses so when you use them to construct 3 times they disappear which is fucking retarded because I've got my cities producing shit that'll take a few turns I have to waste money. Diplomacy is better there's more options in what you can get up to with other civs which is nice. Reaching the next era is confusing this time around it doesn't define the prerequisites so it's hard to know when it'll happen, the in game encyclopedia is vague. I'm on mobile so I cba to write more, this game will replace Civ 5 for me for sure, but I'm not 100% convinced yet why I bought it thinking it would feel new, cool and be £40 well spent it doesn't feel worth that so far I might get there eventually. The first 30 minutes feel way too familar to me though I wanted much more from the next generation Civ especially since it has been 6 years.

That's a while though. I think I like this game because it clicked to me like Civ 4 did, only with the general eye candy that was Civ Rev for the consoles. I dunno what it was with Civ 5, but I bought it a long while before I got my new PC, looking forward to it, then when I played it, just.... eh. Something was missing. It just felt so uninspired compared to Civ 4 and Rev.

In all seriousness, I wish the Gandhi meme would end. It's ran its joke long enough, pick a new leader for India.

If you zoom in on Civ VI Amphitheaters you can hear it play themes from previous Civ games

Your next game should ship with the best features of your previous games expansions instead of stripping them out to sell again as DLC.

Being a slightly less smelly pile of shit doesn't mean you're not a pile of shit.

I'd say it did since it has religion in it and it's pretty good, along with cities not just being huge things on one tile. Combat is also improved (though civ 5's was good). My only real issue aside from the bugs, and vagueness of a few things, is how the leaders aren't in their setting anymore.

Well it was in Civ 4 and for some reason not in 5, and now it's its own victory, which is neat. You can wage holy wars.
