Can GTA V install data be saved to usb?

Or does it have to be saved to the internal harddrive for you to be able to launch it?

Damn sucks guess I'll have to buy a new hdd on Xbox 360. Last question can I make a copy of my gamer tag profile saved on the new hdd so then I can just switch hdds whenever I play gta?

Just buy an external USB HDD.
