Yea?I thought the game would be better than it was but on the flip side I feel like it's been semi worth it.

They took out the raid so they could sell it to you later
HoF is shit. These are the story missions.1. Running through missions you've already done backwards, but now with stupid and pointless additions (like mines and traps that you have to shoot to disable) in order to make the missions longer than they really are2. Go into patrol to kill random enemies cause bungie needed to pad game length3. Running through half the the vault of glass with none of the interesting bosses4. Going to two area's that are already in the game that you can already glitch intoThe only part of original content is the strike, but even that's not very interesting because it's basically on par with every other strike in the game. I haven't touched the crucible or prison of elders yet.
Prison of Elders is actually really challenging at the correct level. Got good drops from it too.

Might as well right? The story was a little bit better than Crota's End, but I still hate the lack of cutscenes. The story isn't presented to you all at once in a neat and orderly fashion like a cutscene does. Instead you are given small pieces of the narrative through the process of playing each mission. You read a quest from the Vendor in the reef. You forgot what it said by the time you are starting the mission. Then you hear a voiceover of the loading screen (where your ship is flying) as you start the mission.I tended to forget the overall goal of what I was doing, and wasn't engaged a ton. However I was far more engaged than I was during Crota's End's story missions(which only had 3, this one I believe had 5?). TL:DR Not amazing, still grindy. But it's better than Crota's End, and The Prison of Elders is actually really fun. Also, gotta love how during development the point of Destiny was to AHEM "Earn your gear. Accomplish things that are noteworthy to get great rewards." And still, we have RNG. So no "achieving or earning" anything. It's all random, which literally contradicts the entire point of the game."Become Legend" = "Become Random"

"we dont want an auction house because we want players to feel connected to the things they get by earning them"- bungie> everyone buys their gear from xur anyway
