That's the point.  The AR and SMG are guns with no risk, and not a great reward.  You have to be completely thumbless to miss with these guns.  That shouldn't be rewarded better than a gun that isn't as forgiving.

You're oversimplifying precision weapons.  I have a very hard time believing that you constantly pull 4 shot kills on competent players.

Oh, I'm far from a perfect aim, but even a blind person can get the headshot within 3 shots after the shield goes down, which is still easily enough time to withstand an AR/SMG barrage. The AR and SMG are basically guaranteed deaths if you're going up against someone with a BR. I'm not oversimplifying precision weapons, they just dominate almost any map.

You're not wrong, even I could get kills with the BR, and I have all the skill of a giraffe. Helps that the headshot hitbox was gigantic.
