SpoilerI don't think our weapons are meant to improve, I think we're supposed to utilise the elixirs and meals to improve our damage.SpoilerIt doubles its power when used against Ganon forms or guardians (not in shrines though). And it doesn't lose durability when fighting those enemies, either, so it's perfect for clearing the castle and surrounding area.

I think this game is further proof that there's no real Zelda timeline, and that it was an attempt to loosely connect the games, completely unnecessarily. Besides the few specifically connected games, it seems apparent that the games are only thematically connected.

Okay so I did Zora's Domain first since it was closest. Since you're told to go to Hateno village before that. Then I thought maybe Death Mountain or the desert. Well the game is substantially harder now. Like I get destroyed constantly. Enemies take nearly all my health in one hit. What gives?
