also, has anyone seen a giant dragon flying around? i just seen one and i tried to follow it but it disappeared o_O

I've already seen lots of hate on GAF, thought lots of people loving it too. I've only played like 10 hours maybe. I'm at the village that starts with an H. Forgot the name. Love it though. Best Zelda in a long time.

Killed a guardian and left another one on its side after fucking up its legs, it still tried to laser face me as I ran off but I didnt have any decent weapons left to finish it off.

Also why the heck arent there weapon merchants?

This is easily top 4 Zelda among Majora's Mask, A Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time.

Shoot them in different parts of the body for rare materials. They typically spawn at night.

I've been wondering why I haven't been annoyed by how much empty space and (ostensibly) boring running there is in the overworld. It has a lot of open world tropes that are tired and uninspired in other games like the towers, but I think this guy explains how this open world is set apart from the many others that are out there:
