Level 84, stuck on Ebrietas. If you're >94, I can level up a few times with the echoes I already have or farm some more quickly. Random matches keep dying, and I've fought this boss at least ten times solo. Can't survive the charge attack.

Hop on and help a turkey out. Username's HurtfulTurkey. I'll make a password once I know someone's willing.

Glorious peasant sunbro stuck to aging console. Would help if could. At best, I can only offer my condolences.

Spoiler

I'm at the point where I can comfortable buy a new console if I wanted, but if you're at all on the fence about a PS4, I can assure you that Bloodborne is worth the investment.

I don't want to even consider the expenses required to upgrade.

Just, sit down a second, and consider this.

My TV is so old, that it isn't compatibale with the "next gen" consoles because it doesn't have the right cable and input supports. Just. Sit back and let that sink in.

Plus. I'm canadian. All that bullshit about lowered prices for consoles? Nope. Not here.

Well nevermind, just tried it again and kicked her ass with a bit of flame paper.

Hey Flee, Bloodborne is amazing. It's got even better level design than Dark Souls, and the combat is perfect and more fast-paced. Get it.

The healthy man does not torture others - generally it is the tortured who turn into torturers.

....Hmm

As a person who has played both thoroughly, I don't think I agree with this.

Bloodborne apparently offers little customisation and variety compared to the previous games

Kind of a double-edged sword. There is almost no useless gear now, since each set can be used in different applications or mixed and matched to optimize for certain encounters, but that also means a bit less uniqueness. That being said, I think this game has more fun pieces of armor than Souls games. The magic is also more stylized rather than generic energy or fire balls. And while you won't be picking up brand new weapons very often, the weapons you can use are fantastically designed. The first weapon I picked (you get one of three at the start) was a sword cane that transformed into a whip, and I used it the whole game. I switched primarily to what is essentially the Moonlight Greatsword which transforms into a smaller, quicker sword, but I found the cane useful in many situations. I think that's really cool, and it shows more thought was put into the weapons this time around. And don't worry, because most of the beloved Souls weapons are still there, with several really cool additions (an electric mace and a spear with a gun attached, for example).

It's unquestionably better than DkS 2, but I'm specifically talking about how the whole world logically connects. Though it's lacking something as intricate as Blighttown, it's amazing to climb a series of ladders in the deepest, darkest parts of Yharnam's undercity just to pop up right where the game started. Stuff like that.
