I really hate the TTK in this game. Why does every BF have a TTK that's 10x shorter?  I don't find it fun when it's about shooting first more than maneuvering better.

Beta's are regularly extended for a few days, especially when servers go down for an extended period of time. Like I said, a beta is a promotional tool as much as it is a tool for testing the integrity of the game; if a given company thinks extending the beta and maybe adding a map would help sell their game, there's no reason for them not to do it.

I think Sinai Desert was the perfect map to have us test out.

It had vehicles, planes, horses, close/long range combat, and some destruction.

It's a damn shame they gimped the medic class because they have my favourite weapon class in the game, and the ability to heal.
