BF1 Beta feedback thread

I'm kind of enjoying running with an unscoped Gewehr.

Apparently the difference the Tankgewehr makes against armoured vehicles is game changing; hopefully they release a patch to fix the shitty class levelling system.

The open beta doesn't show up in store. You have to open up bf4 to download. So far that's how is anyway

On EU Xbox at least it was just under the demos section of the store
PSN just have to search the name for it
PC it's just under betas on origin

Does anybody else think the horses have way too much health? Those fuckers seem to take about 100 rounds from an armored car machine gun to kill them.

It's down across all platforms. They opened the flood gates for everyone and you got on when people are home from school and coming home from work. Try like at 8 tonight.

I love it. Avoid riding horses though. They have the tendency to become targets.

The Support and Medic classes are next to useless, although the Medic rifles are pretty decent. The map is dominated by fairly long-range engagements, so snipers rule supreme which can be annoying, but running with an unscoped Gewehr or Russian 1985 can be good at mid- to long-range. Tanks are OP as fuck, made worse by the fact that the class levelling system is broken so nobody really has the Tankgewehr and the only way to get one is on the capture point furthest away from any real action. The game has a 20 minute time limit, so you'll pretty much never get full tickets/see the train. The gun-play feels kind of. . . Weird; the SMGs are only good at close range and there's little point ADSing unless they're halfway across the village, the LMGs get more accurate the longer you fire, the semi-auto rifles are decent but you can't fire them very quickly and maintain accuracy. The bolt action rifles are decent.

Oh, and the servers are currently down due to a DDOS attack.

I see a lot of things are not up to par, then. But this is a beta so... I don't know if we should really get angry at a beta.

Played more today, when the ddos ended about two hours ago, had a lot more fun this time around.

We've unlocked some shit and know which way our arses are facing on the map so it's a lot less chaotic and stressful.

Shotgun is 10/10 levels of face melting, Snipers are bae (bit too easy though imo), not touched LMGs yet really and Assault is the go-to for run and gunners.

Tanks are definitely strong, but we haven't had much trouble killing them as a squad and it's gotten markedly easier with the AT rocket gun being available.

Horses are a biiiiit too tanky but I'm sure that will change, for now shoot at the rider.

Oh and the gunner seat on the gotha bomber is fucking glorious
