That's because most other retailers understand that by the time the customer is at checkout, 99% of the time they don't want to make anymore decisions.Physical stores offer things to the regulars that Amazon can't. These things come and go every few years, and I don't see it changing. Especially as gamers "grow up" and become more sociable. If you're an adult and your social interactions amount to going into a store to get a game, you need to rethink your life.

I don't know about "good riddance" because that's gonna be a lot of people out of a job, but I prefer to buy things online because it's less hassle. You guys are a bunch of autists though lmao. It was always cool to talk to video game store employees because they knew about games and shit. Some of them anyways, a lot of times it'd just be a girl who barely knew anything.

Like really, people scoff that these won't be around anymore, but I don't see many people really craving to go to a music store. Sure they'll always be around, but it's more a niche market nowadays.
you need to talk to more people, thenmy friends and i all go to music stores almost every time we hang outand honestly if i wasnt poor as fuck id go every paycheque
The point was the main revenue for music in today's world is digital. Same will happen with video games. It already is for PC, and increasingly is for consoles.
